Packaging
Because wire / conductors are made in long lengths, it is essential for economical manufacture that they be placed on shipping reels or in coils continuously as they come off the stranding machines. The packaging of the finished product is, therefore, an integral part of the manufacturing process, and the desired package must be determined before production can begin.

It is a relatively simple matter to determine the size of reel or coil needed for a given length or weight of a particular size of product. There are, however, scores of different sizes and types of aluminum conductors and ACSR, and the determination of the most desirable standard packages for each, from both manufacturers' and users' points of view, requires careful consideration of many variables.

Packaging can be done as per customer's specific instructions. Our standard packaging for wires in coils are HDPE / Polythene / Hessian Lined HDPE. Fine Wires on spools are first wrapped by polythene then in Hessian lined corrugated boxes and finally packed in wooden cases. All precautions are taken to ensure sea - worthiness. Any type of packaging can be tailor made according to you specifications. Please inform us if you need any special packing, as we shall be glad to offer you.

Carriers: generally from 2 mm - 24 mm
Metal Crates: generally from 0.10 mm - 2 mm
Polythene wrapped coils: for all coils to protect during transportation from dirt and moisture.
Wooden Boxes: For all sizes on request.
Drums: from 0.70mm - 1.60 mm in continuous pay-off of about 200-250 Kgs. These drums as per DIN 46396
Wooden Pallets: For all sizes on request.
Spools: 0.10 mm -1.20mm on DIN 125,160,200 and 250 as per size and requirement. These spools are packed in corrugated boxes and then on either pallets or metal crates.
