We,
at Bajrang Group, have been manufacturing bearing balls since our
inception. Now, the production lines in our plants have been streamlined
with the addition of special grinding and lapping machines. These
machines have been developed as a result of our own technical know-how,
which has accumulated during long years of experience in the manufacture
of steel balls. These machines make it possible for us to produce
high carbon chrome steel balls with superior quality, both in terms
of geometrical and surface quality, so that, when used in ball bearings,
they demonstrate an extremely low level of running noise.
Raw material also
plays a very important role. The dynamical properties of the chrome
alloy steel balls as the rotating element of ball bearings viz., abrasion
resistance, impact strength, pitting corrosion resistance, etc. depends
upon the metallurgical characteristics of their raw material in addition
to the grinding and lapping results. We are exclusively using the
highest-grade vacuum degassed chrome alloy steel wires manufactured
in modern electric arc furnaces. All steel wires are rigidly inspected
before approval for use as basic raw material.
Further,
the steel balls are heat-treated in special continuous furnaces
which are managed under strict process control. Working conditions
are maintained so as to enforce the optimum established limits
verified by endurance tests, x-ray diffraction analysis, etc.
While our special grinding and lapping procedure serve to minimize
temper lines & other surface defects, they also improve
the abrasion resistance of the finished balls. Our manufacturing
range for bearing balls is 1 mm diameter to 12 mm diameter for
high carbon chrome steel balls.
Material
Chrome
alloy steel with uniform carbide distribution and fine grain
size in the matrix is used as raw material for all of our
chrome alloy steel balls.
